Food City grocery stores will offer a FREE small bowl of Menudo to all dine-in customers between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at 35 Food City stores statewide with Deli Departments.
Menudo is known to be a popular hangover remedy, as many people believe that menudo alleviates the symptoms of a hangover. Menudo is a rich, spicy soup traditionally prepared by the entire family. Menudo gets its delicious flavor from lime, onions, cilantro, oregano, and red peppers. A bowl of menudo is typically eaten with bolillos, tortillas, or other breads.
