History of the White Tank Mountains
The White Tank Mountains Conservancy will take you back to a time when the Hohokam, miners, ranchers, and farmers settled in and around the mountains. You will learn how the White Tank Mountains became an important watering stop for early travelers before Phoenix was settled, and how the mountain range emerged into the “Jewel of the West Valley” recreational area that we know and love today.
