COVERAZ Open Enrollment

The Cover Arizona Coalition and partners across Arizona will hold insurance enrollment events in Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Yuma, Flagstaff, and Sierra Vista on Saturday, the 6th of January 2024, to assist Arizonans with enrollment in healthcare coverage. Enrollment for the Insurance Marketplace ends January 16, and the Arizona Healthcare Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Arizona’s state Medicaid plan, has been redetermining member eligibility since April. The latest numbers from AHCCCS show that 431,623 members have been discontinued from its rolls. Families and individuals will have the opportunity to speak with an insurance navigator in person at the event to explore healthcare options and sign up for coverage. Walk-ins will be accepted, but appointments prior to the event are highly encouraged. People can set up appointments using the Cover Arizona navigator at https://coveraz.org/connector/ or by calling 1-800-377-3536. In-person assistance will be available in English, Spanish, and some Asian languages.
