Barney's Day at Denny's
Below is information on “Barney’s Day” at Denny’s, 2 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2024. This event celebrates Barney Mullen’s 46 years as the “best bus boy ever” at Denny’s 5002 North Seventh Street (at Camelback Road), Phoenix. In fact, Barney has worked longer at the same Denny’s location than any employee in Denny’s corporate history. What a feat!
To celebrate this unique occasion, Denny’s hosts a community-wide party honoring Barney. One and all are invited. Whether guests dine in or take out, Denny’s will give 20 per cent of every purchase to Lura Turner Homes, established in 1965 to serve metro-Phoenix adults with developmental disabilities. Barney will be available for interviews from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, April 14th and 15th.
