Shell-ebrate Independence Day Specials at Chula Seafood Preorders Now Available for Pickup JULY 4

The restaurants are shell-ebrating Independence Day with specialty to go packages, catering platters and kits, now available for preorder for pickup on Friday, July 4. Specials include: Chula Uptown Fourth of July Spectacular includes: BBQ Halibut Collars—Two grilled Alaskan halibut collars with ginger-soy tamarind BBQ sauce garnished with chopped pineapple and green onion Hawaiian Mac Salad—Spam, grilled pineapple, jalapeno, carrot, elbow mac and creamy dressing Papaya Slaw—Shredded green papaya with red curry dressing and green onion Coconut Lemongrass Bar—Coconut and lemongrass custard over a coconut and cassava shortbread This ready-to-eat package begins at $85++ and serves up to four diners. Two dozen shucked and ready-to-go oysters can be added for $100++. Pickup is at Chula Uptown on Friday, July 4, before 3 p.m. Chula Grayhawk Fourth of July Spectacular includes: Baby Back Ribs—Half-rack of hickory smoked pork ribs, slow-basted in honey butter and finished with a mustard glaze (comes ready to reheat and eat) Green Chile Tuna Burgers—Six house tuna patties with roasted hatch green chiles, pickled tomatillos, chipotle mayo, queso asadero and Martin’s potato rolls (patties come raw and ready to grill) Grilled Street Corn—McClendon’s Select sweet corn with chile lime butter, queso cotija (comes cleaned and ready to grill) Mustard Potato Salad—Russet potatoes, celery, onion, chopped eggs and fresh dill in a mustard dressing Mac and Cheese—Elbow macaroni, roasted broccoli, sharp cheddar and herbed breadcrumbs (comes ready to bake) This package serves up to six diners and comes ready to cook, assemble and eat as noted above. The cost is $100++. A tray of ready-to-eat lobster rolls can be added for $170++; two dozen oysters, shucked and ready to go, can be added for $100++.
