CONCERTS AT CHRIST CHURCH – NOVEMBER 17, 2024
Christ Church of the Ascension (CCA) will host a CONCERTS AT CHRIST CHURCH event, “Organ Throughout History”, on Sunday, November 17 at 4:30 pm in the main church, featuring CCA Music Director Tigran Buniatyan.
“This organ concert will illustrate 500 years of the history of organ music, starting with the Medieval era, and also explore the sound palette of the Renaissance, Baroque, Romantic, and 20th Century music styles,” explains Tigran. “The program will include works from some of the oldest surviving keyboard manuscripts to music from Bach, Widor, Alain, and others.”
All are welcome to attend this free concert; donations will benefit the Choir Program at CCA and may be made at the door or at ccaaz.org/donate (please select Music Donation from the drop-down fund menu.)
