    Cast Iron Concepts’ has announced its latest venture, Bar Cena, will open on Thursday, Oct. 26. The new cocktail and dining lounge, set to feature an exclusive chef-driven menu and vibrant cocktail program, is located next to the acclaimed Hush Public House, also part of the Cast Iron Concepts family of restaurants. “We’re looking forward to expanding our reach and presenting yet another opportunity for guests to experience elevated drinking and dining in a casual and welcoming atmosphere with a neighborhood feel,” said Owner and Chef Dom Ruggiero, who also owns and operates Fire at Will under the umbrella of his Cast Iron Concepts restaurant group. “We are proud to have some of our existing staff taking the lead on this project and have complete confidence that their talents will shine at Bar Cena.” “Cena” translates to “dinner” or “supper” in French, Spanish and Italian languages, a nod to the influences that will be highlighted on the seasonally rotating menu. Hush General Manager Regina Di Salvo and Executive Chef Alex Harrison are spearheading the development of Bar Cena and Chef de Cuisine Zack Myers is heading up the food menu. The menu features an array of small plates, allowing guests to order multiple dishes and discover a variety of flavors throughout their comprehensive dining experience. Dishes include Baked Camembert with candied pecan, quince and puff pastry ($18); Muffuletta Croquettes with finochionna, provolone, sesame seed and fennel olive salad ($16); Crispy Potato Pave with duck fat, chive and rouille ($12); Popover, cacio e pepe butter ($9); Tartare featuring prime filet, extra virgin olive oil, capers, parmesan, beef fat aioli and bottarga ($24) and many more. The dinner menu will be accompanied by a creative craft cocktail menu as well as innovative mocktails developed by Two Hands Consulting, LLC, which conceptualized the bar programs at both Hush and Fire at Will.
