Chef’s Week is back! The Arizona Restaurant Association (ARA) has announced dates for its second annual Arizona Chef’s Week, presented by DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS. This 10-day culinary experience is dedicated to promoting and bringing awareness to local restaurants during the slower summer season in the Phoenix area and beyond. The 2026 Arizona Chef’s Week begins Friday, July 31 and runs through Sunday, Aug. 9.
During the event, participating chef-driven restaurants offer unique three-course prix fixe menus priced at $55 or $66 per person, depending on the establishment.
“Summer in the Valley of the Sun is a historically slow time for the hospitality industry, and that slowdown can hit our locally owned and chef-driven establishments pretty hard,” said Arizona Restaurant Association President and CEO Steve Chucri. “Arizona Chef’s Week serves as a time when chefs can showcase truly unique menu items for a fraction of their regular price, while giving culinary enthusiasts an incredible meal.”
The Arizona Restaurant Association (ARA) is dedicated to supporting, advocating for and bringing awareness to establishments in the Arizona hospitality industry. It produces the popular twice yearly Arizona Restaurant Week, one which takes place in the Spring and the other which takes place in the Fall.
Arizona Chef’s Week debuted in 2025 to further support the smaller, independent and chef-owned establishments that find the slow summer season particularly challenging. With prix fixe menus priced at just $55 or $66 per person, the Arizona Chef’s Week format is intended to present diners with an unforgettable meal for a great deal while giving them an additional opportunity to support their favorite local restaurants and to discover new ones.
Arizona Chef’s Week encourages chefs to get creative and step outside the box from their usual menus, offering many items that are only available during the 10-day event. Diners can expect highly seasonal ingredients at their peak, limited-availability ingredients, bold and trending flavors, innovative meals and next-level presentations exclusive to Chef’s Week menus.
To ensure these establishments are positively benefited by this event, the number of restaurants that can participate in Arizona Chef’s Week is intentionally limited. Currently, participants for the 2026 Arizona Chef’s Week include:
