The Broadway Tour of Shrek the Musical
Arizona-based Nite Out Entertainment is proud to present The Broadway Tour of the Tony Award-winning fairytale musical adventure -- Shrek The Musical – at the Arizona Financial Theatre in downtown Phoenix for three shows on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Appropriate for all ages and based on Dreamworks’ Oscar winning animated film, Shrek, the musical is a hilarious stage spectacle that brings everyone’s favorite ogre named ‘Shrek’ to the stage. USA Today calls the show “Altogether irresistible.” as it takes attendees to a far-away swamp where Shrek’s home is invaded by banished fairytale misfits, who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.
Opening night will include an optional VIP event where attendees can meet the cast, and give back to local charities, including Armer Foundation for Kids and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
