Western Horizons Main Event at Western Spirit
Western Horizons continues Saturday, Feb. 28 beginning at 9 a.m. at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, 3830 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The day features Tony Abeyta presenting “The Native American Art Movement” at 9 a.m., Dr. Andrew Patrick Nelson discussing “Western Art in the Shadow of Hollywood” at 10 a.m., and a live dual-artist demonstration at 11 a.m. with sculptor John Coleman and painter Jeremy Lipking creating side-by-side in real time. At 5 p.m., the event moves to Legacy Gallery for the Show & Sale, draw, and live auction, followed by dinner and music at Western Spirit Museum. Tickets are $200 per person, include access to all events and a Western Spirit General Membership.
