Visit Woodford Mansion with your family on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st to celebrate fathers “ founding fathers, that is! Tour this National Historic Landmark where you will hear the stories of great men such as William Coleman, Woodford's founder and one of the men that inspired Benjamin Franklin. You'll also learn about signatory of both the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution George Clymer, and hear the harrowing tale of David Franks, whose family sided with the British during the American Revolutionary War.
The tales of these former residents and more await you at Woodford Mansion. Dad's tour free on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st!
Woodford Mansion celebrates more than 200 years of history and tells the stories of the families that resided there through the Naomi Wood Collection of period antiques and 18th century decorative arts, which fills every room of this historic home.
Woodford Mansion is open for guided tours Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:00 am through 4:00 pm, excluding holidays. Admission for a guided tour is $5.00 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, and $2 for children (age 6-12).
