For a child who has never owned one, a book of their own can instill a lifelong love of reading. Shire's Big Give, a regional collection drive, aims to collect 3,000 books for kids ages three and younger and nine to 12. Other much-needed items include socks and underwear, batteries, baby healthcare products, pants and winter clothes. Donate at the two-day collection drive at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne, or at local sites in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties on September 27th. Donations at Wilson Farm Park can be made on Friday, September 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Donations at partner sites in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties can be made on Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
