'A Bird Without Wings' tells the story of Nabeel, a young man whose abusive childhood inspired this exploration into how child protective services and law enforcement frequently fail to save children from situations of extreme danger. On October 11th, we will be hosting an Art Gala as an opportunity to raise hometown awareness of this important production, 'Silent No More' will feature work by local artists, footage from A Bird Without Wings, child welfare advocacy information, a message from Director Angela Wolf, interactive elements, a guest speaker, and more.
Tickets are $15 in advance (online only), $20 at the door. Cash and credit/debit cards accepted. Card purchases will carry additional fees. (All artwork purchases and any other donations will be tax-deductible and go directly toward the film).
