Soraida is an internationally known artist and social critic who since 1992 has been creating abstract paintings juxtaposed with written social commentaries that encourage peace, tolerance and social change. This first exhibition of 2009 emphasizes the theme of hope, as expressed through the power of music. The Verdadism gallery space is in a 110 year old Queen Anne Victorian building, located minutes from Philadelphia and within close proximity to New York City. With over three rooms of exhibition space, gallery visitors are introduced to original paintings, the Verdadism Art Book, limited edition and open edition fine art prints, and original peace and hope ink drawings. The opening reception to view Soraida's Hope Drawings is Saturday, February 7th, from 1-6PM wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
