On Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12, there will be an assortment of fun "Farm Week" games and activities for kids and families. Kids' activities run from 6:00 -- 8:00 p.m. each night. The activities are part of the ongoing six-week series of Family Fun Nights for the summer of 2015, featuring:
- Thursday Night Live Music Events -- This week featuring Sparkle Pony and The Jersey Corn Pickers beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Friday Movie Nights -- This week's special family feature: "Field of Dreams" beginning at dusk.
- Beer garden, with beer and wine, and featuring food delicacies, such as gourmet hotdogs, sandwiches and snacks from regionally-renowned Winnie's.
- Lots of activities for Kids and Adults
- Future "Theme Weeks" to entertain and educate youngsters will include:
- Arts (June 18-19); Movie: "School of Rock"
- Kids Power! (June 25-26); Movie: "ET"
- Patriotic (July 2-3); Movie: "Miracle"
Bring your family and friends and join us as we celebrate the outdoor space at Venice Island, the city's newest performing arts venue, along the Schuylkill River in Manayunk. Activities will take place on Thursday and Friday evenings, 6:00 -- 10:00 p.m.
