The Philly Mart will bring a unique and engaging shopping experience to downtown Manayunk when it makes the Venice Island Performing Arts and Recreation Center its new home this fall. With more than 50 vendors, the Mart”an open-air artisan and vintage market—offers an assortment of original art, handmade crafts, high-end vintage furniture, jewelry, clothing and antiques. The Mart provides a unique alternative to the big-box retail shopping experience. The Philly Mart will also give away one free space each month to a local non-profit or community organization.
On November 8, the Philly Mart will be back in the parking lot of the Venice Island Performing Arts and Recreation Center. This exciting new Parks and Recreation venue features a state-of-the-art theater, new basketball courts, a spray park, an outdoor amphitheater and beautiful green infrastructure.
