    10/20/2016 07:00 PM 10/20/2016 09:00 PM America/Anguilla Guards at the Taj by Rajiv Joseph Theatre Exile presents the Philadelphia premiere of Guards at the Taj, by Pulitzer Prize Finalist Rajiv Joseph, from October 20 through November 13, 2016, at Studio X (1340 S. 13th Street). Directed by Deborah Block, this play takes place in 1648 India and follows two Imperial Guards as they watch the sunrise for the first time on the newly-completed Taj Mahal. When they are ordered to perform an unthinkable task, the aftermath forces them to question the concepts of friendship, beauty, and duty, and it changes them forever.
