Please join the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund and the William Way Community Center for an LGBT community Valentine's Party, GOLD AND CHOCOLATE, at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia, 10 Avenue of the Arts, on Wednesday, February 11th from 6 – 8 pm. The party celebrates a very special gift of $100,000 to DVLF for the William Way Endowment. Tickets are a modest $20, and we also ask that those attending donate a gift of GOLD — an old disco chain, an ear ring whose mate has been lost, a ring no longer treasured, an heirloom that's gathered dust or a bauble from a former flame. Gold is at an all time high, and the painless gift of jewelry no longer worn can be transformed into a significant gift with no pain to your checkbook. All donations will be acknowledged for tax deduction purposes. We hope you can attend! The donor of the most valuable gift of gold will receive an overnight package courtesy of The Ritz-Carlton. And there are raffle prizes: a spa package from the Ritz-Carlton and two gift certificates from City Food Tours. The Ritz-Carlton is planning special discounted drinks like Chocolate Martinis at $10 and complimentary hors d'oeuvres including chocolate strawberries. Thanks to cooperating jeweler, you can drop off or mail gifts of gold at either William Way Community Center or DVLF anytime during the month of February. Just be sure to include your name and address so we can send you an acknowledgment letter following appraisal.
