Dream Violet is asking for your support to come join us, learn more about our efforts and the work we are doing. Enjoy light fare, drinks and live entertainment while mingling with local professionals who share the goal of battling cancer through technology and community awareness. We are kicking off our flagship event at the Pyramid Club, a private business club strategically placed 52 floors high at the “top of the town,” above Center City in Philadelphia on June 26, 2013 from 6:30-8:30pm.
Dream Violet was found on the vision that empowering cancer research through information technology would help achieve faster results in the dissemination of data derived from research programs and clinical trials. With the current roadblocks in dealing with big data and privacy guidelines, as well as ever changing healthcare rules, Dream Violet saw an opportunity to direct its 13 years of expertise in a single focused effort to aid in finding a cure for cancer.
We understand that the cure for cancer will take time, and we are committed to shortening that time frame. In the meantime, Dream Violet knows there is a lot that can be done today to help battle this disease. In an effort to help wage the war on cancer on all fronts, Dream Violet has started an awareness program for teenagers to educate them and the community on the types of behaviors known to cause cancer, (studies shows one third of cancer cause is behavior based) and the ways to effectively avoid these behaviors. By providing this knowledge in a realistic and teen friendly manner, it is our goal to reduce the number of behavior based cancer cases.
