The Pier Shops at Caesars will host their first Oktoberfest Beer Tasting event on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on the 3rd level. A ticket price of $25 allows guests to sample over 30 varieties of beer as well as enjoy a complimentary pint at a restaurant of choice at the end of evening. Tickets for this special event are available for purchase through Ticketmaster, online at www.Ticketmaster.com, via phone at 800.736.1420, or at any retail locations including The Pier Shops Service Station. In the spirit of Oktoberfest, Guests will be entertained by a lively Polka Band while sampling over 30 beers and specially prepared hors d'oeuvres. After the samplings, guests are invited to enjoy one complimentary beer at their Pier Shops restaurant of choice including: Phillips Seafood, Sonsie, Buddakan, The Continental, Game On!, Sonsie, Souzai, or The Trinity Pub. The vast variety of beers will provide guests a sampling from around the world, including local breweries, unique craft beers, as well as imported German beers. The assortment includes two authentic Oktoberfest beers from Germany, Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen and Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest. In addition, there are two pumpkin infused beers, Wolaver's organic Will Stevens' Pumpkin Ale and the Jack's Pumpkin Spice Ale. The selection also includes various lagers and ales such as Michelob Ultra: Tuscan Orange Grapefruit, Victory Festbier, Stoudts' Oktober Fest, as well as, other limited addition and specialty brews.
