Stephen STARR Events, the exclusive caterer and operator of all eateries at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, has introduced a new chef demonstration series designed to educate the home-chef while creating a fun, interactive platform to approaching exciting new cuisine.
The intimate, 90-minute classes will offer 10-15 guests first-hand tutorials on cooking various dishes. Executive Chef Gerald Drummond will lead the demonstrations for each class, while assistant chefs will be on-hand to offer guests extra attention and help with their technique. Each guest will sample the food created during class and will receive recipes for all dishes, as well as a special parting gift.
On June 12th, learn how to make the famous Granite Hill Crab Cake. Since opening in 2010, The Philadelphia Museum of Art's flagship restaurant, Granite Hill has featured their famous Crab Cake, which always remains on the seasonal menu year-round due to popular demand. Hands-on experience with Chef Gerald Drummond will take you through each component of the dish so you can learn how to create this classic fan favorite for your loved ones at home.
