Join Marilyn Waxman owner and chef of The Nourishing Well for her Fall/Winter Thursday Hands-On Cooking Classes. These classes will each focus on one healthy, staple ingredient. Students will create several dishes with this basic ingredient, learning how versatile it can be. All ingredients used will be organic and locally sourced when possible. If you are suffering from a gluten allergy or intolerance, our classes are a great opportunity to learn how to cook healthy, tasty and Gluten-Free dishes. All Hands-On Classes, except Oodles of Noodles, feature Gluten-Free ingredients.
Marilyn will be supervising and cooking alongside students the entire time. Each dish will be sampled and recipes will be available to take home so each student can wow friends and family with their newly found culinary prowess. This class is the first in the series and is titled 'Eat Your Greens'. Class Menu includes the following:
Marilyn's Famous Kale Salad
Southern Style Collards
Greens and White Beans
Palak Paneer
Greens Goma-ai (Japanese Sesame Sauce)
