Join Grammy Award-winners Ry Cooder and Emmylou Harris for an unforgettable evening at the Mann on July 3rd. One of popular music's premier talents, Ry Cooder mastered the rudiments of the guitar while still a child. He learned the techniques of traditional music from Rev. Gary Davis and by the age of 17 was part of a blues act with singer Jackie DeShannon. Since then, he has gone on to win 6 Grammys along with countless other accolades and produced 20 albums.
A 13-time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient, Emmylou Harris’ contribution as a singer and songwriter spans 40 years. She has recorded more than 25 albums and has lent her talents to countless fellow artists’ recordings. In recognition of her remarkable career, Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
