orchestral music for the theater Nancy and Dick Eales Series at the Kimmel Center Tempesta performs two of its orchestral rediscoveries from the
French high baroque: Jean-Philippe Rameau's Les Fêtes de Polymnie,
of which the Inquirer noted "a score so inventive, colorful, and
overstuffed as to be delightfully subversive," and Jean-Marie Leclair's
Scylla et Glaucus, a "major revelation, according to the Inquirer.
