Free at the Kimmel PNC Grow Up Great Musical Theater Commonwealth Plaza Saturday, August 15 at 11am Grow Up Great introduces kids to the vibrant world of musical theater—where singing, acting, and dancing join forces to tell a story. Exciting guest artists will perform songs from the canon of great American musicals, from Rodgers & Hammerstein to Porter and Gershwin. Kids will sing along to recognizable classics and go home singing some brand-new tunes. This lighthearted program encourages kids and parents to explore their creativity as singing snowflakes, ducklings, shooting stars, and everything in between!
The Kimmel Center is the recipient of partnership funding through the nationally recognized PNC 'Grow Up Great' program, a $350 million, multi-year initiative to help prepare children from birth to age five for success in school and life. Grow Up Great programs are held monthly in Commonwealth Plaza.
