The Albert Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest presents, “The Death of Expertise: The Campaign Against Established Knowledge and Why It Matters” on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 6:00 pm at Topper Theatre in The John and Joan Mullen Center for the Performing Arts at Villanova University. Tom Nichols, bestselling author, The Atlantic staff writer and professor emeritus of national security affairs at the U.S. Naval War College, will discuss the 2024 elections in the context of a rise of public distrust in experts. This event is co-sponsored by the departments of History, Political Science and Global Interdisciplinary Studies in Villanova University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
