Together with their Official Putty Partner, Crazy Aaron's Puttyworld, the Franklin Institute will drop 50 pounds of Thinking Putty from the ceiling of the museum's Atrium. What will happen when the putty hits the ground? Will it drip, stretch, bounce or shatter? This hands-on putty experiment, following the Scientific Method, will reveal the answers to these questions while amazing participants. The Great Putty Drop of 2012 is FREE with museum admission, and the audience will receive complimentary tins of Thinking Putty as a souvenir.
