Touch a real brain and meet a neuroscientist! The Franklin Institute celebrates its 20th year recognizing Brain Awareness Week on Thursday, March 19, with a daylong exploration of the body’s most vital organ.
Visit the award-winning Your Brain exhibit and then explore real animal and human brains at the “Brain Bar.” Meet neurocientists from Temple University, the Penn School of Medicine, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Drexel University, and others. Participate in dissections, brain-y games, and activities centered around helmet safety, brain plasticity, and visual illusions.
Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign founded by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives in 1995 and designed to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.
Included with General Museum Admission
