Women of Courage is Lutheran Settlement House's annual fundraiser that celebrates the courageous spirit of remarkable women who have overcome obstacles and continue to advocate for the neediest in our community. Please join us in celebrating these women.
Established in 1902, Lutheran Settlement House serves over 7,000 of Philadelphia's most vulnerable citizens including homeless mothers and children and domestic violence survivors. We also help unemployed community members prepare for the GED test and find jobs. Through our senior center, we run a food cupboard and intergenerational farm, which pairs seniors with teens to garden together and learn from each other.
