A Perfect Fit is Career Wardrobe's premier fundraising event which last year drew more than 350 supporters and raised nearly $100,000 to support the program. The cornerstone of the event is a fashion show staring Philadelphia's corporate and political leaders along with members of the news media who donate the suit they wear on the runway to help another woman transition to work.
This year's event theme "Opening Doors for 20 Years" celebrates Career Wardrobe's two decades of assisting unemployed women in Philadelphia to create the professional image they need to open the door to self-sufficiency. For 20 years, Career Wardrobe has brought together women across the community to help empower each other through education, mentorship, and even the clothes off their backs.
