Power Jam Stretch


Philly Dance Fitness presents Slow Jam Stretch! Work up a sweat as you move through sequences designed to tone every major muscle group. Power Jam Stretch combines yoga, dance, strength training, Pilates and a little Tai Chi to create a challenging, rejuvenating workout.

After warming-up, you'll flow through low-impact, body weight movements to build strength, flexibility and balance. The 50-minute class ends with mat work aimed at core strength.
If you have tight joints or injuries, no need to stay home this class is great for sore muscles, back and knee pain and joint stiffness. Just let the instructors know of any specific concerns so they can help you modify certain movements, if necessary.

Class is performed barefoot to stimulate balance reflexes and tighten core muscles. Accompanying jazz, R&B and soft rock music sets the tone for fluidity.
