    02/09/2011 07:00 PM 02/09/2011 10:00 PM America/Anguilla Philly Philm Slam (complimentary food and drink special from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm screenings begin at 8:00 pm) HOW MUCH: $10 (includes complimentary food and drink from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm and movie screenings) HOW IT WORKS: For three consecutive months, 4-6 independent film/video makers will screen their short works in front of a live audience at the prestigious Arts Garage (1533 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130). Prior to the screenings, two audience members will be randomly selected to be a part of the judging panel (along with professionals in the filmmaking industry from the Philadelphia community). The winner from that round will be declared the overall winner and win a cash prize!
