The Temple University Small Business Development Center presents their first Going Global Series, where they will show small business owners how the global market place can be their next big step to success. Through this series the SBDC's Senior Specialist of International Business, Holly Meng, will be utilizing her over 18 years experience of working in the International arena to teach small business owners the step-by-step process of importing and exporting. Through the first part of this two-part series, attendees will learn the intricacies of expanding into a global market. From paper work and procedures, to buyer-seller trade negotiations, clearance and shipping, you will understand the basics of importing and exporting and will be able to identify opportunities, as well as assess risks. If you are ready to explore the endless opportunities of the international market, let us guide you into the right direction. The series will begin on Wednesday March 4, 2009 with Importing 101, and will conclude with Exporting 101 on Wednesday March 25, 2009. Both Seminars will take place from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. and will cost $30.00 each.
