"Swiss Haus is well suited to Old City as it shares an important place in Philadelphia's history. We're very excited to finally be open after months of construction and I think our 90th birthday bash will be a blast. I can't wait to see what kinds of cakes the contestants serve up! says Joshua White, the bakery's owner.

The famous bakery is most known for its classic hazelnut and mocha cakes, tiered wedding cakes, and assortment of cookies. Swiss Haus has maintained an innovative and forward-thinking heritage since the opening of its first location at 35 South 19th street in 1925. This took them from introducing gourmet hot chocolate to creating vegan and gluten-free options”all this, while staying true to its authentic roots and original recipes.
