Red Star Red Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble

State Theatre premiere performance! Composed of 70 singers, dancers, and musicians, the Red Star Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble performs magnificent combinations of traditional Russian music, folk songs, and dances. The New York Times, says 'The young dancers in the mini-Moiseyev numbers are first class and the vocal soloists are, in fact, opera singers.' Traditional Russian songs in the program include 'Meadowlands,' 'Moscow Nights,' and 'Dark Eyes.' The ensemble has performed over 220 performances in the U.S. with sellout performances in New York, Chicago, and Boston.
