Holy Holy- The Man Who Sold The World

Legendary Bowie bandmates, producer/bass player Tony Visconti and drummer Woody Woodmansey perform David Bowie's seminal The Man Who Sold the World album. Woodmansey and Visconti, along with David Bowie and Mick Ronson wrote The Man Who Sold the World, but never had the chance to perform it live. The Man Who Sold The World, recorded in 1970, is considered one of Bowie's finest moments and this band is well-placed to do it justice. Following Holy Holy's performance of The Man Who Sold The World in full, the second half of the show will feature a selection of favorite early Bowie songs.

After recording The Man Who Sold the World, Visconti went on to produce 14 of David Bowie's albums, including the recently released Blackstar. Woodmansey continued to play drums on three additional David Bowie albums including Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, and Aladdin Sane.
Holy Holy's lineup was handpicked by both Visconti and Woodmansey and features Woody Woodmansey on drums; Tony Visconti on bass; guitarist James Stevenson (The Cult, Gene Loves Jezebel Gen X); guitarist Paul Cuddeford (Ian Hunter, Bob Geldof); vocalist Glenn Gregory (Heaven 17); keyboardist Berenice Scott (Heaven 17); saxophonist Terry Edwards; and backup vocalist Jessica Morgan.
