Saint Benjamin Brewing Holiday Happy Hour at the South Philadelphia Tap Roo

Join us on Thursday, December 22nd for a special holiday happy hour with St. Benjamin Brewing Company. A perennial Philadelphia favorite, St. Benjamin has carved out quite a niche for themselves with their consistently imaginative takes on old world styles. We’ll be pouring an exclusive firkin of Gingerbread Oatmeal Stout to bring holiday cheer to new & old friends alike. Also on draft will be their new Reaper White IPA (100% cascade hops, 6%) and Heart in Hand Rauch Bock (dark amber lager brewed with Beechwood smoked German malts, lightly hopped with Magnum & Czech Sazz). Rumor has it that Santa Claus and one of his elves might even make an appearance.

Kurant Cider is fast becoming one of our favorite Philadelphia area ciders. We’ll have Kurant Spice on draft (apple cider brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg & brown sugar) to kick off your warming holiday weekend. All St. Benjamin & Kurant drafts will be 1/2 price from 4-7pm, and a donation will be made to CHOP on behalf of St. Benjamin/Kurant/South Philadelphia Tap Room for each pint sold.

Gather up the whole gang & come on down to our beautiful Christmas bar to kick off this year’s festivities. You can even treat yourself to a glass of our house made Egg Nog! All the lights will be twinkling, the garland will be flowing- hope to see you on the 22nd.
