Salem County Fairgrounds, New Jersey; The 12th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show is gearing up for its biggest celebration of the fall harvest this October 9, 10 & 11th, 2015, hosted at the Salem County Fairgrounds, Rte 40, Woodstown, New Jersey. South Jersey Pumpkin Show was created out of the love of pumpkins and the fall harvest from Millville residents Kathryn & Leslie Wright, of B & K Enterprise. The event's theme for 2015 is "Embrace Autumn's Glory and the fairgrounds will be transformed by pumpkins, scarecrows, gourds, cornstalks and hundreds of colorful mums.

Pumpkin growers and backyard gardeners from any state are being invited to bring their heaviest pumpkin out to the South Jersey Pumpkin Show Big Pumpkin Weigh Off on Sunday, October 11, at noon. If you're a pumpkin grower this is a great late season opportunity to show off your prize pumpkin and potentially win a portion of the $4,000 in prize money up for grabs.

Festival goers visiting this year will enjoy pumpkin desserts, rows and rows of craftsmen, Fall Home & Living Expo, fun contests, scarecrows, amusement rides, give-a-ways, men's & women's only pumpkin toss, live bands, wine sampling, festival food court, camping, NJ Largest Baked Pumpkin Pie, pony rides and haunted hayrides around the fairgrounds.

The Pumpkin Show will feature the reading of Sleepy Hollow legend and the arrival of the Headless Horsemen on Friday & Saturday.
The giant pumpkin pyramid will be showcased as the center piece of the festival and kids under ten will enjoy a friendly boo barn, pumpkins, craft making and pumpkin treat bags.

The South Jersey Pumpkin Show is a completely self-supporting festival made possible by the sponsors, exhibitors and $5.00 parking fee! Thousands of dollars from the proceeds of this festival have been and will continue to be donated to non- profit organizations.

South Jersey Pumpkin Show will always be dedicated to Kathy's October son,
Scott R.W. Bailey, who succumbed to ATV injuries on May 13, 2010. Kathy's son was a huge part of the festival from the beginning and will always be remembered by his friends and family. A Scholarship Award is given each year in honor of Scott from the Pumpkin Show proceeds.
