For the third consecutive year, five popular local media figures will present insightful talks about their careers this October, when Rydal Park continuing care retirement community presents its 3rd Annual Rydal Park Lively Fall Speaker Series. The series will again be hosted by veteran Daily News columnist and Rydal Park resident Harry Gross, with all talks free and open to the public on a limited, reserved-seating basis by calling 877-933-6699.
This talk will be hosted by John DeBella. A hugely popular radio host since his 1982 arrival in Philadelphia, DeBella is known to millions of listeners. His morning show for 102.9 WMGK includes some of the most-recognized names in rock music and today's hottest comedians. His extensive radio career also includes hosting the area's top-rated morning radio program at WMMR in Philadelphia, and innovative radio programs on WLIR/Garden City, NY. He is beloved for his support of local animal shelters; his Veterans Radiothon, benefitting local veterans' organizations; and annual Turkey Drop to help feed the hungry. He also develops original web content and reality TV shows.
