Women Who Jam! is the all-female national music showcase of live entertainment designed to provide a promotional outlet and gathering place for ground-breaking singers, musicians, and poets. Wednesday August 27, 2008 7pm – 11pm at Reef Caribbean Lounge located at 605 S. Third Street Philadelphia, PA PERFORMING LIVE.... HEDONIS DA AMAZON CHAQUIS MALIQ EMPRESS WOMEN WHO JAM! is an advocate for female performers who are opening doors and shaping today's music scene. NABFEME Philly is changing and wants women in the Philadelphia area to know we are here to support, empower and encourage them with any goals of making their mark in entertainment and music industry. NABFEME is a nonprofit, professional organization led by volunteer entertainment executives. The mission of NABFEME is to raise the profile and increase the awareness of Black women in music and entertainment. We accomplish this mission through activities that foster empowerment, education, mentoring, career development and networking opportunities.
