Harvest Festival at Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market will hosts its popular Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 17th, from 10am to 4pm. Closed to vehicular traffic for the day, Filbert Street will be transformed into an urban farm with bales of hay and corn stalks, providing festival-goers with a near "country� experience. Visitors and shoppers alike are invited to climb aboard an authentic farm tractor for a hay ride around the Market, watch a pumpkin-carving demonstration, play games and make arts & crafts for kids, and, of course, enjoy delicious seasonal foods. The Market's vendors will offer locally made, seasonal foods such as cold pressed juice, hot apple cider, grilled corn, bacon on a stick, turkey legs, caramel-covered apples, apple dumplings, baby back ribs, grilled chicken, apple bourbon BBQ ribs, funnel cake, pumpkin bread pudding, a beer garden and much more. Seasonal, local produce such as squash, apples and pumpkins will be readily available. There will also be locally-made crafts and jewelry.
