On Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 10 a.m. – 4p.m., Reading Terminal Market will be putting on the annual Harvest Festival! This celebration of local Pennsylvania harvest fare promises to be fun for the entire family. The Market will be closing down Filbert Street (aka Harry Ochs Way) to make room for an urban farm, packed with hay bales and corn stalks. A beer garden will be available for event-goers, stocked with fall brews and delicious appetizers. Attendees of all ages will get the chance to go on a hay ride around the Market while sitting atop a bona-fide farm tractor. There will also be a pumpkin patch set-up in the Market for some excellent photo opportunities. The festival will feature live music, and, obviously, fresh and delicious Pennsylvania harvest items.
The event is free to attend for people of all ages, but the delicious autumnal food, beer and cocktails will be available for purchase.
