Looking to take on a personal photography project or begin developing a cohesive body of work? Commit yourself to the task by joining us for a six-month journey that will culminate in a group exhibition at Project Basho!
Students will begin by identifying a personal project or particular area of photographic interest to pursue throughout the duration of class. Students will then shoot images for the project outside of class and bring new work to show at each meeting. Through in-class critique from fellow students and ongoing guidance from the instructor and a special guest photographer, students will refine their vision as they build a collection of images that tells their story.
The class will also touch on basic presentation techniques, including printing tips and framing advice, to help students prepare to show their work. At the conclusion of class, students will have an additional month to prepare their work for the group exhibit.
Prerequisite: Photography: Inspiration and Vision, or Portfolio Review
