Suzanne Westenhoefer gained fame as the first-ever out-lesbian stand-up comic in the early '90s. Twenty years later, she's a mainstream theater and comedy club staple with HBO and LOGO comedy specials, several comedy DVDs, and a web comedy series in her resume. Her material still draws hilariously on the LGBT experience but the laughter she incites today is universal, mining everything from relationships to her Lancaster County Anabaptist heritage.
The RRazz Room presents performances by local and national artists from a wide variety of musical and theatrical genres including Broadway, pop, opera, gospel, drag, comedy, rhythm & blues and jazz. Additional performances will be announced shortly. There are four locations - The RRazz Room at the Prince, 1412 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia; The RRazz Room at the Raven, 385 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA; and two Florida locations, one at the Coral Springs Museum of Art and the other at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center.
Each show is priced individually with varying prices ranging from $29 to $85. A two beverage per person minimum is required. There is no age limit. Alcohol is not served to patrons under the age of 21.
