Single Black Female

Single Black Female depicts the journey of one black female and her 'jones for love'. The play draws inspiration from a popular 90's movie 'Love Jones'. Yet, as is customary in a Kash Goins piece, it is filled with colorful characters and a fair share of twists and turns to keep the audience thoroughly engaged and enlightened on the mindsets of some men and women as they pertain to the current African American dating scene. The talented and alluring cast includes the star of Oxygen Network's 'Bad Girl's Club', Philly native Cat Washington and the soulful sounds of singing sensation Carol Riddick. This Philadelphia premiere will illuminate the Avenue of the Arts, in the luxurious Prince Music Theatre at Broad and Chestnut Sts. 'Single Black Female' is the first production of the newly formed GoKash Productions, LLC collaboration between Kash Goins and Jamaal Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles.
