Parallel: Dance Show Celebrating Intersectionality, Differences, & Shared Experience
Parallel examines the differences that bring joy and strife to our shared human existence. The works featured in this show express the intricate relationships between and among our identities and encourage audiences to consider their own place within the web of humanity. This production stars Philidelphia's own Rachel Nace and Elizabeth Knecht. Rachel taught dance as an instructor/choreographer at Harcum College and served as Ballet Mistress for Greater York Youth Ballet. Elizabeth taught as a ballet instructor/choreographer for the Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter school for 9 years and continues to freelance as an instructor and choreographer throughout the region. Other performers include Alexander Cornejo, Corey Baker, and Panthea Grace.
