The Evil Knievel of dance and MacArthur Genius Award fellow Elizabeth Streb blends slam dancing, extreme sports, circus, and Hollywood stunt work into a performance that will delight both dance audiences and thrill-seekers alike! Streb’s “Pop Action” choreography challenges gravity and what is humanly possible in her latest tour-de-force Brave, featuring Olympian conditioned dancers in constant motion turning traditionally unoccupied spaces into new performance arenas. It’s a car chase and demolition derby at the same time, complete with spills, chills and thrills!
