LANGHORNE, PA (November 2008) – The Oxford Valley Mall will be hosting its annual Santa's Arrival Parade along with other special festivities to welcome Santa this holiday season. The Santa welcoming events will take place on Saturday, November 15 between 8am – 10am. Oxford Valley Mall will begin its Santa's Arrival Parade at 8am in the mall's B Lot (old Boscov's entrance). Santa will ride atop a Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company fire truck and a variety of local performers and entertainment will join in the parade including Neshaminy High School Jazz Band, a Mansure Music Band, Langhorne-Middletown fire officials, Judy Tootie the Clown, Gibson Road Antique Fire Association, and many more. The parade will end at 9am at the mall's Market Square entrance (near JC Penney). Santa will then participate in a Kidgits Club Breakfast in the mall's Food Court 9am. During the Chick-Fil-A catered breakfast, children will be invited to meet and greet Santa, write letters and wish lists to Santa, and will be given complimentary goody bags. Approximately 250 Kidgits Club members are pre-registered for the event. At 10am area children and families are invited to meet and have their photo taken with Santa in the mall's Sears Court. Traditional photos with Santa will be on sale throughout the event. In addition, Radio and Disney will join the children in the Sears Court to lead holiday music sing-alongs and festive games to add to the holiday spirit.
