Oxford Valley Mall will host a Kidgits Club Safe Summer event on Saturday, June 20 at 11AM in the mall's Sears Court. The family-friendly event will help to promote safe and healthy habits for kids. During the event, DigiKids will produce digital identification kits for Kidgits Club members. A kit will be provided to each Kidgits Club member and additional kits will be on sale. Capital Health, an acute-care, teaching hospital based in New Jersey, will be on-hand providing information on summer nutrition, fitness and sun protection. Kids will also make and decorate their own bug jars to use while catching fireflies on warm summer evenings and a moon bounce will be set up for kids to burn off extra energy. Subway and Chick-Fil-A mascots will add extra entertainment while showcasing the healthy kids food choices available on their menus.
