After centuries of making, selling and enjoying important ales like IPA and Porter, beer is intertwined with England's national identity. Together we'll enjoy contemporary versions of such time-honored classics as Brown ales and Winter Warmers.This fun and informative entry-level class will give you the knowledge you need to confidently choose which beer to buy and drink. How does malt, hops and yeast influence the taste of what's in your glass? Learn the difference between ales and lagers and how to read a label to make your most informed purchase.Our tasting will be led by Dave Bonette, a local homebrewer and a Cicerone Certified Beer Server. A Revolutionary War buff and direct descendant of a Continental Army veteran, Dave also teaches our Wines of the Continental Congress classes.*If you need to reschedule: If you pay full price for your ticket you may reschedule up to 48 hours of the class start time. After which a $10 fee per ticket will apply. If you are using any type of discounted ticket (i.e. Groupon, yelp deals, etc) a $10 fee per ticket applies regardless of when you reschedule.Last minute cancellations made less than 2 hours before a class result in the forfeiture of a ticket.
